About Warrington Islamic Association

Warrington Islamic Association is the body that helps our Mosque function. The Association’s role is to provide all manner of Islamic functions and events for the Muslim community of Warrington as well as the non-Muslim community. The Association is also responsible for the general day-to-day running of the Mosque.

Currently the Mosque offers:

  • 5 Daily Congregational Prayers
  • Al-Ghazali Academy Madrasah (for children 5 to 15yrs)
  • Friday Jumu’ah Prayers: Lecture (Bayaan) in English & Sermon (Khutbah) in Arabic.
  • Eid Prayers.
  • Muslim Funeral Prayers (Janazah). We also have facility to wash the deceased.
  • Taraweeh Prayers (night prayers during Ramadan).
  • The Spiritual Retreat (Itikaf) during the last 10 nights of Ramadan.
  • Quran Khatams for the deceased.
  • Events: Seasonal Educational events & talks such as Mawlid an Nabi, Isra wal Mi’raj and others.
  • Weekly Monday classes.
  • Quranic Education Classes for All (regardless of age & gender).
  • Courses that cover knowledge of the Essentials of Islam.

  • Visit my Mosque Days for the local non-Muslim community to learn more about Islam and interact with their fellow local Muslims.
